How do you become a rock star?
It's the usual tale of chicks, booze, fags and "pussy
passes". Except that this time, the band issuing the pussy passes (Hinder;
pictured here is the guitarist) doesn't count drugs as one of its vices.
Such is rock in the 21st Century.
Kess Bohan, photographer and director of photography, has been hauling his
Bessa R2 at rock concerts and gigs all over the UK and US to do this reportage
and portraiture.
How does one arrive at a rock star identity? "You
find something that defines you," observes
our man,
"and then apply your music and style to it (like The Horrors, that very
conceptual band), or just drink a lot (like Pete, the lead singer of The
View)."
