Grappa is sexy again, darling...
You consume grappa "in a wine glass, with two to three grapes in the spirit.
Or on its own with chocolate to counter the strong taste. But never with
food," said
Sandro Bottega, owner of the award-winning Distilleria
Bottega, to Sojournpussy Editor.
Remedy for winter? Certainly, the fiery taste can jolt you back to live. Grappa is complex – you either grow to love it or you don't. But try to be creative and mix with juices, ice cream, coffee, or pour over salad for kick.
And the black pearl inside? What you see here is the special
Alexander "Black Pearl" edition for Air Tahiti, inspired by the Pacific. Distilleria
Bottega uses fine glass-blown bottles from Venice, which are 100% recyclable.
Any other examples? Sandro and team came up with a TriColore flag version after the World Cup victory, and a red heart version specially for the ladies.
Where can we get one? On selected airlines, at duty free shops globally or your nearest Waitrose in the UK.
