How to drink cognac...
We sojourned in a former château called Château de l'Yeuse, where the Cognac wardrobe in the sitting room is something else. Instead of books, the walls are lined with hundreds of Cognac bottles. That's our kind of library. For dinner we ate a sumptuous meal at La Ribaudière created by the celebrated Michelin-starred chef Thierry Verrat. His tasting menu is served with five different Cognacs and many of his specialities are made with this aromatic spirit.
